Sound of Beasts transforms graphite drawings into sonic stories. It portrays animals as subjects aware of their own powerful symbolic nature. Being often categorized as the other, the animal raises questions in the animal eyes, in the animal skin, in the animal as a real presence.
Sound of Beasts is based on the book “Cantos Cabrios. Jacques Derrida, un Bestiario Filosófico.” by Federico Rodriquez, as well as in reflections on animal philosophy and their existence in the world and in human life.
